    Winterwood

    This Post is Spoiler Free! Y’all… I don’t even know how I’m supposed to write this. I just finished Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw, and OH MY GOODNESS! AHH! WHAT DID I JUST READ?!?!?!?!? There are so many emotions, my dudes. So many emotions. To start, I’m just in love with the way Ernshaw writes. It flows so beautifully and conveys such emotion, I found myself devouring it. I felt the same way when I read The Wicked Deep earlier this year (you can find my review of that HERE). Like The Wicked Deep, Winterwood was a Paranormal Fiction (with a healthy dose of Fantasy).     This Post is Spoiler Free! So… I don’t usually like YA Contemporaries. Great way to start out a review, right? You might be asking yourself why I even bother reading them if I don’t usually like them, and I have two answers for that question: 1. I appreciate any piece of writing as an opportunity to learn about the craft, and even if I don’t like the genre, there are bits of it I can incorporate into my own writing.  2.
