The Adventure Zone: Here There Be Gerblins

Oi! I just finished reading The Adventure Zone: Here There Be Gerblins comic/graphic novel (what is the difference? Anyone know?). It is based 100% on The Adventure Zone Podcast by Clint McElroy, Griffin McElroy, Justin McElroy, and Travis McElroy. The art of the comic is done by Carey Pietsch. Oh man that was a fingerful to type!

Long story short… this COMIC WAS AMAZING!!! It was EVERYTHING I wanted! I don’t even know what else to say about it. The art is just perfect. All of the character designs are perfect (especially Taako—his character design is just *chef’s kiss*). The story is… well the same as the Podcast. Exactly. It was honestly so much fun seeing my favorite parts of the Podcast drawn out and printed in a book in front of me. It was just so perfect.

I don’t currently have the rest of the books in my possession (there are currently four out, and more on the way), which is a bit of a shame, but I know I’ll love them whenever I get my hands on them! I think you’d love this comic even if you haven’t listened to the Podcast, but I might be a little bit biased.

I’m keeping this short (mainly because I’m not sure what else I should say about this), but I know for CERTAIN I’ll be reading this again. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series whenever I get a hold of it!
